What is the KNOX-BOX System?
The KNOX-BOX System is a family of high security, UL listed rapid entry products specifically developed for the fire department. The system is operated with a unique Knox Master Key for fast emergency access to commercial and residential properties.

How does the System work?

Purchase and install Knox-Boxes in your gate or near your front door. The KNOX-BOX provides on site storage of emergency entry keys and access cards that are retrieved by the  firefighters with a Knox Master Key.

After you have installed the Knox-Box, schedule an appointment with the fire department to lock the box, (414)- 768-5724.

How do I report a fire hazard?
        Call or email your fire inspector. You will be asked to give the street address and specific information regarding the hazard. 

How do I report suspected arson or other suspicious activity?
         Please contact the City of South Milwaukee Police Department at (414) 768-8060. You may also contact the Wisconsin Arson Tip Line at 1-800-362-3005. Callers to the Arson Tip Line will remain confidential and may be eligible for cash awards.
